Transforming Lives. Transforming Communities.
Project Pinnacle’s Impact
Home
Welcome to Project Pinnacle, a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization dedicated to redirecting emerging adults between the ages of 17-25 years old, who have been charged with a non-violent felony offense for the first time.
Our mission is to provide a full service program for individuals who have made mistakes in their lives and to help them successfully reintegrate into society. We believe that emerging adults are the next workforce in our community and if they are educated, emotionally intelligent, and skilled, they will rebuild their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
We work with emerging adults between the ages of 17-25 who have been charged with a non-violent offense for the first time and are at risk of returning to the criminal justice system. Our goal is to help these individuals break the cycle of reoffending by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Our Program
It’s centered around three core principles: education, employment, and community support.
Access
We provide access to education and vocational training programs, job placement services, and ongoing support from our team and community partners.
Efforts
Through our efforts, we aim to not only reduce recidivism rates but also to create safer, more prosperous communities. We believe that by helping individuals succeed, we can positively impact the lives of their families, friends, and neighborhoods.
We provide access to education and vocational training programs, job placement services, and ongoing support from our team and community partners.
our logo
Project Pinnacle
Our logo is symbolic of all our community and corporate values, and represents the pinnacle comprised of negative and positive shapes. Once the participants have completed the program and reach the pinnacle, it’s symbolized by the outstretched hands of Judge Jackson on one side, and our corporate partners on the other side, with each lending a supportive helping hand to transform the lives of the Project Pinnacle program participants.
Program Accomplishments
Reduce Recidivism
Recidivism is a statutorily mandated performance measure and is defined as re-arrest rates at intervals of 12, 24, and 36 months following program participation. Project Pinnacle enjoys a recidivism rate of less than 3% which means a 97% success rate for graduates. This course work and practical skill building is critical to the success of our young participants who leave the program with defined educational and professional goals.
Professional Development
Over the intensive program year and with the investment of our corporate and community partners, participants engage with a number of subject matter experts. Skills workshops include communications, personal branding, professional etiquette, resume development and head shots.
Mentorship
The long-term success of Project Pinnacle participants is due in large part to the investment, coaching, and support of mentors. Each participant is assigned a mentor.
